Ideastream Public Media: Newly trained immigrant chefs showcase international cuisine
Ideastream Public Media recently highlighted The Hope Center’s One World Kitchen program offering a six-month chef entrepreneurship course to immigrants and refugees. Graduates gain business, culinary, and kitchen skills and host pop-up dinners where they showcase international dishes, hoping to foster cultural understanding and help participants find restaurant jobs or start their own ventures.
