America's Oldest Promise Meets Its Newest Faces
As America celebrates its 250th anniversary, we are reminded that our country has always been shaped by people who arrived here from somewhere else. We’re a nation of varied languages, traditions, and dreams, yet share a desire to build something better. Together with our immigrant neighbors, we are the land of the free and the home of the brave.
The Hope Center has had the privilege of welcoming America’s newest faces for 10+ years. Through initiatives that connect families to job training, adult education, youth enrichment, community, and citizenship, we help create pathways of stability and belonging.
We understand this call to welcome newcomers through the words of Jesus in Matthew 25, “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”
For 60 days this summer, we are aiming to raise $60,000 to strengthen IMAGO and The Hope Center. Thanks to two angel gifts from local families, every gift for the campaign will be matched dollar-for-dollar, to raise $120,000 total! We invite you to contribute as you feel led; your support will make a wide range of meaningful work possible this year.

Join us for 21 Days of Prayer for our immigrant and refugee neighbors, grounding ourselves in Scripture and God’s heart for our community from July 1–21. This journey is an invitation for our volunteers, donors, friends, and anyone who wants to learn more about the Hope Center to pause, reflect, and pray alongside us.
Each day, come back to read the Scripture and guided reflections written by contributors from the Hope Center and the greater BHITC community. Together, we will make space to grieve what is broken, turn our hearts back to God, surrender ourselves to His leading, and worship Him with renewed faith and expectancy.
On July 22, from 7-8pm the journey will conclude with a virtual prayer gathering where we will come together as one community to pray, worship, and celebrate what God is doing in and through our city. Register here.
