Celebrate Thanksgiving across Building Hope in the City by helping create spaces of welcome, connection, and community. This year, there are two opportunities to volunteer: at The Hope Center with immigrant and refugee students, or with Community Development at our annual Familygiving event.

Thanksgiving at The Hope Center

When? Wednesday, November 18 & Thursday, November 19, 11:15 AM - 2:45 PM

Share a Thanksgiving meal with immigrant and refugee students after their class session. Volunteers will help prepare and serve the meal, welcome guests, and sit alongside students around the table. For many, Thanksgiving is a new tradition. Your presence helps make it a meaningful experience of friendship, hospitality, and belonging.

Familygiving with Community Development

When? Thursday, November 12, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM

Where? W 58th Church of God, 3150 W 58th St, Cleveland, OH 44102

Help bring Clark-Fulton & Stockyards (CFSY) families and neighbors together for an evening of food, gratitude, and connection. Come welcome guests, support kids’ activities, and help with clean up.
