The key to the transformation of our cities is leaders, which is why
BHITC provides intentional training and support for urban missionaries,
ministry leaders and church planters.
We believe that God uses a variety of means and methods to bring future
leaders of all types into the harvest field of the urban mission. Here
in the city, the paths that leaders journey are varied, incredibly
personal and brimming with Kingdom purposes and meaning.
BHITC's coaching and mentoring processes support this work of the Spirit
by:
• Enabling leaders to better discern their gifts and abilities.
• Creating opportunities for leaders to rub shoulders with other
leaders.
• Training in understanding poverty and cross-cultural environments.
• Assisting church planters to build their core teams.
• Giving church planters the coaching and support necessary to
see a new church plant move from inception through "launch day" and on
to ongoing maturity and multiplication.
• Partnering with church planters in fundraising strategies.
